SHREDDING THE ENVELOPE is saluting those US Military personnel who have dedicated themselves to their country and are offering up copies of their new record The Call Of The Flames, free of charge.

The band's singer and lead guitarist Dave Reffett issues the following statement about the giveaway:

"To express my respect and admiration for the work you do I'm giving away our new CD to the troops around the world to say thank you for your continued bravery."

I remember seeing a piece on MTV once about how 90% of the troops loved Metal so I thought what a great group of people to share this album with. Also feel free to send this message along to any fellow soldiers that are rock fans. We really hope you like it. The album is old school hard rock and heavy metal leaning towards the thrash metal world and is influenced by our favorite bands such as Kiss, Anthrax, Megadeth, Ozzy, Metallica etc. The CD also features guest performances by George Lynch(ex-Dokken),Chris Poland(ex-Megadeth,Glen Drover(ex-Megadeth),Michael Angelo Batio,Joe Stump(Holy Hell) and more so we hope to hear from you and we hope you'll dig it."

The offer is open to all active duty US Military personell. Veterans are also eligible.
