ALICE IN CHAINS' personal road dog Baldy has checked in with the following live review from Oakland:

"Wow. I've seen a lot of things at shows over the years, but tonight in Oakland marked another first.

I was filming out into the crowd from behind Sean when I saw a little girl sitting on her dad's shoulders right down in front. She couldn’t have been more than four years old at the most, as cute and innocent looking as a girl could be, grinning and waving at Jerry.

Then she started singing along to 'Them Bones'. And then she threw the horns. And she kept it up too. This kid must have downed a few juice boxes before the show, because she had some stamina.

Normally I don't use the word adorable to describe anything at an Alice In Chains show, but this kid put a smile on my face nearly as big as hers.

I started imagining story time at pre-school the next day.

While the other kids are eating paste and talking about Teletubbies, this little girl is gonna whip out a story of how she nearly got swept up in a mosh during 'Check My Brain'. I don't know where you cast your vote for Father Of The Year, but her dad has mine."

As previously reported, Alice In Chains has teamed up with Popcult / Devil’s Due Comics for a contest to give fans the chance to add their own chapter to the controversial storyline depicted in the video for the band’s current single 'Your Decision'.

The 'Your Decision' comic picks up where the video leaves off, fans will determine how the story ends. A tumblelog page featuring a master storyboard with comic’s opening chapter of the story can be found at this location.

Fans are challenged to post your suggestions for what you think should happen in the next chapter (in 150 words or less). Once approved, all new chapter posts are viewable to the public. They can be read, commented on and “liked” by other users. At each chapter stage, the submission with the most “likes” will be the winner. Each winning submission will be elevated to the master storyboard and guide the path the story takes next. Winning entrants will see their chapter illustrated by Pop Cult / Devil’s Due Comics, and immortalized into the 'Your Decision' comic book.

The Grand Prize for best entry includes a flyaway trip for two to New York to see Alice in Chains play a sold-out show at Terminal 5 on March 9th, two nights accommodation, and the chance to meet the band. Four runners up will get a limited edition illustrated 'Your Decision' comic lithograph signed by Alice In Chains.
