KEEP OF KALESSIN Featured On Norwegian Royal Mail Stamp

Nuclear Blast Records Germany reports:

As one of the artists in Melodi Grand Prix 2010, the norwegian Royal Mail has made stamps with KEEP OF KALESSIN on them. This is normally only done with the royal familiy or historic figures.

The band got the official news and was also delivered the stamps at a small get-together in the home of Per Sundnes (the MGP host) on Friday, February 5th with all the other MGP 2010 finalists.

According to the band this is a big surprise and a huge step for metal in Norway.

As previously reported, Keep Of Kalessin placed third at the grand finale for the national Eurovision Song Contest (Melodi Grand Prix) which took place Saturday, February 6th at Spektrum in Oslo.

Says the band, "A quarter of a milllion votes is a powerfull vote of confindence for us, our fans and metal music.We wish to thank all of those who voted for us. We are very grateful.

To perform in the finals in Oslo Spectrum is one of our career highlights. The competition has been a very good experience for us. We have made a lot of new friends. We have even got our own post stamp!!

To round things up we would like to congratulate DIDRIK SOLLI-TANGEN, and wish him the best of luck in the international final at the Spektrum in Oslo."
