Finnish bashers KALMAH have issued the following update:

"As you can see we have launched brand new website . In addition we created new Official Kalmah Myspace site here
. We would like to thank the webmaster of the old Kalmah profile and hope that friends of that profile will find their way to the new one. Enjoy the new profile and new song added for listen 'One Of Fail'.

Some good news for the LP lovers. 12 Gauge will be released on vinyl by Svart Records. Go to this location.

We will shoot new music video this week. Featured video song is '12 Gauge' but without the intro. The video is planned to be released before the album release.

Kalmah will release their sixth album, 12 Gauge, in North America on April 6th via Spinefarm Records. The CD, which which will be made available in Japan on February 24 and in Europe on March 3rd, was recorded between June and August 2009 at Tico Tico studio in Kemi, Finland and was mastered at the Cutting Room in Sweden. Nine new songs and one cover version were laid down during the sessions which "went [smoothly], as always, even though this time the recordings were done in three different time periods within a half a year," according to the band.

Regarding the new album's musical direction, lead guitarist Antti Kokko stated, "It is very Kalmah-like, but we haven't forgot to introduce new tuning here and there."
