Last Wednesday, February 17th, ANGRA entered the Norcal Studios in São Paulo, Brazil. The band’s singer Edu Falaschi has revealed some details about the new studio album:

“On the first day in the studio we installed drums and did a soundcheck. The next day I recorded some vocal guides for Ricardo Confessori, our drummer. While he is recording drums, I’m going to continue my work with STILL ALIVE band in Rio de Janeiro as a producer of their debut album. And soon I will return to the production of the first CD of another rising star of Brazilian metal – ARTEMIS. Very soon Brazil will have the honor to release two more great CDs of two great bands: Still Alive and ARTEMIS! heir debut CDs will be out this year! Stay tuned!”

Two video reports from the studio are available below.

Edu Falaschi adds: “We decided to work in this way to feel ourselves more like at home. The climate in an official studio is not always favorable for great ideas… So, it's clear that by choosing this way we are taking care of each detail in order to make our CD the best and the most complete in the history of the band!”

The long-awaited follow-up to 2006's Aurora Consurgens will be released in the second half of 2010 and will feature the return of drummer Ricardo Confessori. For the first time the band will produce the record.
