hot flashes news

Ohio's Warriors Of Metal (aka WOMfest III), one of the few open air, camping allowed festivals in North America continues to improve it's roster for June 25-26th (Chillicothe, OH, Ross County Fairgrounds), mixing in new regional acts with established headliners like CAGE, OMEN, IMAGIKA and ASKA. Pennsylvania's progressive thrashers FORGOTTEN LEGACY will be in attendance, as well as the classic rok/metal sounds of New Point, IN based WRECKED. After touring as hired guns for Metal Blade artist HATCHET's spring tour, Zakk Coffey (guitars) and Nick Poffinbarger (bass) will bring their day-job, the power-thash VANLADE from Kansas City. Prog-metallers BLACK VICE will venture down from Athens, OH. To keep the campers from having a good night's rest, there will be entertainment beyond each night's headliner. LORDS OF THE TRIDENT, a Madison Wisconsin based outfit with a Celtic visual motif similar to inactive local heroes Lunarium, will take the stage Friday night/early Saturday morning, after OMEN, while American metal band, LOST CHAPTER (who will open for MUSHROOMHEAD this weekend), will perform similar later night duties on Sat-Sun, following CAGE.

As previously announced, other acts on the bill include: JACOB'S DREAM, ICARUS WITCH, WIDOW, BEYOND FALLEN, the return of the amazing technical onstage display of ZEPHANIAH, TRAZOM, SKELATOR and OBLIVION MYTH.
