Robyn Ironside from News.com.au is reporting:
Thursday night's AC/DC concert produced a $19,275 windfall for the Brisbane City Council in parking fines.
Almost 260 concert goers who drove to the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre at Nathan returned to their cars about 10.30pm to find a $75 ticket on the windscreen.
Richard Roach said he parked in Cervantes St, Macgregor, at the direction of police.
"I drove up to an officer and said 'where do I park?" Mr. Roach said."He pointed up the street and said 'anywhere you can find a space'."
He was aghast when after the concert, he discovered the ticket on his car and "every other vehicle for as far as the eye could see".
"I didn't think parking officers worked past 6pm. They must have decided to make a special effort."Read more here.
