CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED's Richard Christy (ex-DEATH, ICED EARTH) has issued the following update:

"Unfortunately my Charred Walls Of The Damned CD signing tomorrow at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ has been postponed because of tons of snow in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Dang you Old Man Winter!!

We want everybody to be safe and stay off the roads if possible. I will announce the rescheduled date very soon, thank you everybody and stay safe out there!"

Metal Blade Records recently announced that Charred Walls Of The Damned, also featuring the talents of Tim Ripper Owens, infamous metal producer Jason Suecof, and Steve Digiorgio (Death, AUTOPSY, CONTROL DENIED, TESTAMENT, VINTERSORG, Iced Earth, SADUS), has entered the Billboard Charts with their debut, self titled album.

Charred Walls Of The Damned came in at #37 on the Independent Albums Chart, #6 on the Heatseeker/New Artist Chart, and #46 on the Hard Music Albums Chart. The band also broke the charts in Canada, coming in at #85 on the Independent Chart.

Richard Christy commented: "I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the fans who purchased the Charred Walls of the Damned CD/DVD! I'm super psyched that the album did so well and this is only the beginning! Let's keep this album going strong and make 2010 the first year in the most metal decade ever!
