PHILM Featuring SLAYER's Dave Lombardo Announce L.A. Shows, 7" Single For Volcom Ent.

L.A.-based experimental post-hardcore triumvirate PHILM, featuring drummer Dave Lombardo (SLAYER), guitarist/vocalist Gerry Nestler (CIVIL DEFIANCE), and bassist Pancho Tomaselli (WAR), have announced two Hollywood shows.
The band will headline a free 21+ show at Club My War O))) at the Dragonfly, 6510 Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood, CA on Sunday, March 7th, and support JUCIFER at Relax Bar, 5511 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90027 on Friday, March 12th.
Philm are scheduled to enter the studio shorty to record a 7" single for release via the 2010 Volcom Ent. Vinyl Club. The tracks will be helmed by noted UK producer Piers Baron who earlier worked with Lombardo and MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister on their cover of the BEN E. KING classic, 'Stand By Me', for Flip Skateboards' 2009 Extremely Sorry movie soundtrack.
