HEAVENWOOD will perform a very special show on April 3rd at Blá Blá Music Club in Matosinhos, Portugal, just prior to the Easter Metal Fest on April 4th at La Riviera in Madrid, Spain. KAMELOT will be headlining, and Heavenwood together with LEAVES’ EYES, ADAGIO and DARKSUN will be on the bill.

Heavenwood fans will receive free entrance to the show at Blá Blá Music Club by presenting their original Redemption CD at the door. If they don't present the Redemption album, then the ticket price will be 10€. The support act will be Oporto-based gothic rock band SECRECY.

Meanwhile, Heavenwood have re-recorded their first four-track demo-tape titled, As Illusive As A Dream, dated from 1994. A work recorded on the old times under the monicker of DISGORGED. Later the band would sign a record deal with the German label Massacre Records and changed their name to Heavenwood.

Commented singer Ernesto Guerra: "We are very excited to bring back to life after 16 years this great and memorable moment from the beginning of our career as band. This is really amazing to see how actual this song sounds in 2010. As Illusive As A Dream can be really abrasive to the brain. Melting the ears as an apocalyptic death metal that’s been brought back from our old fans to the new ones by a storm."
