This year's edition of the Wacken Open Air festival is scheduled for August 5th - 7th in Wacken, Germany.

Organizers check in with the following update:

"We confirmed a lot of bands since last year so we can present you a preliminary running order in the week from March 22nd.

Apart from big names like ALICE COOPER, MÖTLEY CRÜE and IRON MAIDEN there will be the chance to get to know and watch unknown bands. Of course the W:O:A FIRE FIGHTERS will play at the beer garden and will party with you.

From March 22nd we will arrange the whole billing to a preliminary running order so you can plan your personal barbecue time and your headbang time.

Hitherto we will confirm some more bands. So be excited about the next great confirmations for Wacken Open Air.
