Farvahar Records has issued the following update in regards to Ohio's Warriors Of Metal festival (aka WOMfest III), scheduled for June 25th - 26th in Chillicothe, OH at Ross County Fairgrounds:

The main metal label sponsor of Warriors Of Metal Fest III was saddened earlier this week that their heavy metal band, GALLOWS END, will not be able to participate in this year's 3rd Annual Warriors Of Metal Festival due to economic difficulties in Sweden and their desire to promote and support their upcoming debut album, Nemesis Divine, due for European release this summer.

Gallows End will launch their newly designed and improved website and MySpace pages today.

The vacancy in the fest's roster created by Gallows End's cancellation was swiftly filled by the Pittsburgh, PA-based metal outfit DOFKA, who will be holding their CD Release party in Wheeling, WV on March 20th for their newest release, entitled Humanity Bleak along with the Auburn Records recording artists H.A.T.E. in direct support.

Excited about the band's inclusion in this year's Festival, shredder and band founder Jim Dofka said: "This is going to be an amazing metal festival. Every metalhead from Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and surrounding states must come! We'll be playing with the likes of OMEN, ASKA and our brothers in metal ICARUS WITCH."

Additionally, after having opened for the likes of TESTAMENT, SONATA ARCTICA, MÖTLEY CRÜE, MUSHROOMHEAD, and many such national and international bands, the Detroit metal machine SILENT AGGRESSION will play their very first engagement outside of Michigan by kicking off the first day of Warriors Of Metal Fest III on Friday, June 25th at the Ross County Fairgrounds in Chillicothe, Ohio.
