According to Nypost.com, US federal prosecutors won't seek the death penalty against a Long Island gym owner who hired a hit man to kill TWISTED SISTER singer Dee Snider's brother-in-law.
Christian Tarantino was busted in Sept. 2008 for three murders, including the 2003 rubout of Vincent Gargiulo, the younger brother of the rock singer's wife.
Tarantino also allegedly killed an armor car guard during a 1994 payroll stick up. He then allegedly killed his partner in the heist to keep him quiet.
Gargiulo, who owned several gyms in Manhattan and Long Island with Tarantino, was trying to shake the mob wannabe down for $50,000 in exchange for a tape recorded conversation in which he implicated himself in two 1994 murders.
A hit man shot Gargiulo in the face the day before he was set to speak with the feds, according to sources.
The US Attorney's office gave no reason for its decision.
