JANE'S ADDICTION - Performing And Writing With DUFF McKAGAN
March 31, 2010, 14 years ago
JanesAddiction.org reports:
Last night at Perry Farrell’s 51st birthday celebration, a re-tooled JANE’S ADDICTION took the stage with bassist Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER). The show at Les Deux (in Los Angeles) marks the first public performance by the band since Duff entered the fray. The band's set included a cover of LED ZEPPELIN’s 'Whole Lotta Love'.
Original Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery quit the band at the beginning of March, saying the "experiment is at an end... with equal parts regret and relief."
St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) marked the beginning of writing for the new, as yet untitled Jane's Addiction album. The sessions are taking place at an undisclosed location in LA.
