As of March 5th DANKO JONES began posting clips talking about the tracks from the band's new album, Below The Belt. New entries will be posted every Friday until the May 14th release. Check out the fifth clip below. A preview of the album is available at the bottom of the page.

As previously reported, Danko has been confirmed for the Rock On The Range Canada 2010 Festival, taking place in Winnipeg, Manitoba on August 7th. Other bands on the bill include STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, GODSMACK, BUCKCHERRY, THREE DAYS GRACE, FINGER ELEVEN and CRASH KARMA. Go to this location for event information. Tickets are on sale now.

In a recent interview with BW&BK; scribe Carl Begai about Below The Belt, Jones discussed his experience touring with vocalist Sebastian Bach on the Canadian leg of the GUNS N' ROSES Chinese Democracy tour back in January. An excerpt is available below:

Jones: “Sebastian is the kind of guy that’s always kind of worn everything on his sleeve, and it’s awesome. I think people can really identify with that part of his personality. I’d always wanted to meet him, and I told him that on the second last night of the tour. We watched Guns N’ Roses together every night. He was really nice, and it’s great when it works out where people you admire turn out to be as cool as you imagined.”
