UK prog metal act JUROJIN have confirmed June 7th as the release date for their new album, The Living Measure Of Time. Following is the official press release:

In early 2008, a musical experiment was put in motion between friends and acquaintances. The idea was to put together four musicians from diverse musical backgrounds and see what could happen. Within a few months, Jurojin was born. Featuring a rock singer, a classical Indian tabla player, a jazz bassist, and a metal guitar player, this unlikely combination has been gathering attention and critical acclaim since their live debut in June of 2008 at London’s Borderline club. With countless shows now under their belt, including a short US tour, an acoustic show at London’s prestigious Barbican Hall and a UK tour with metallers Sevendust in late 2008, Jurojin will be taking back to the stage in early 2010 in the run-up to their upcoming debut release.

Mixed and mastered in Baltimore by Drew Mazurek (LINKIN PARK, HIM, NOTHINGFACE), The Living Measure of Time will be officially released on teir own Majestic Elder Recordings through ADA Global / warner on June 7th.

Guitarist Nic Rizzi comments: "This album is a means for us to hopefully put the name Jurojin on the map and show people that metal has always been and will continue to be an ever-evolving genre. We have been pushing and developing our sound for the last year or so, especially since the addition of tabla to the line-up, and I genuinely believe what we are creating now is something truly unique. This is something that will reflect upon our music more and more with time. Watch this space."
