MEGADETH - "Muchas Gracias Mexico"

hot flashes news megadeth

MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson has issued the following update:

"What an amazing welcome to Mexico this evening...14,000 people packed in the arena thrashing and having the time of their lives! This was a great way to kick off the Latin America tour.

We'd played this arena before to some great crowds; once with JUDAS PRIEST (when Ripper was in the band) and once with MÖTLEY CRÜE. But tonight was a new level... something really special, and especially to play the Rust In Peace set for our fans here in Mexico City.

I brought my authentic Mexican soccer jersey with me from home so I could wear it tonight for the encore. It was a gift from a fan a few years back so I thought it would be appropriate to sport it for such an amazing crowd.

Tomorrow we're off to Brazil to start the South American portion of the tour.

Good night and Muchas Gracias Mexico!

David"
