DESDEMON Commences Pre-Production On New Album

New York’s DESDEMON have started pre-production on their first full-length album, which should be available in spring of 2011. In the meantime, the band have scheduled the following live dates in support of their new EP, The Awakening:

14 - Blondie - Detroit, MI (Sirens of Metal Festival)DesDemon will serve as direct support for AMANDA SOMERVILLE at the Sirens Of Metal Festival II. An official statement from the band's lead guitarist, Lord Metadox: "It's so cool that we were asked to perform at this years Sirens of Metal Fest! Detroit Don, the Festival's organizer had come across us last year after we were booked for the Music Minds Memories Halloween Metal Meeting in Belgium, and have been in communication ever since. He apparently thought that we'd be a great match from his hand selected bill! This year we will be slotted to perform in direct support of the incomparable Amanda Somerville. What an honor to be able to perform with Amanda. We're all really big fans, so this one's really going to be a treat for us. We can't wait to share the stage out there in the Motor City!"
