The biggest defenders of traditional heavy metal, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, kick off their next big North American touring onslaught with a massive run across Canada that commences tonight in Calgary, with GOATWHORE as support. This leads the band directly into the much anticipated, big summer festival Rockstar Mayhem Tour, performing alongside such major acts as LAMB OF GOD, ROB ZOMBIE and HATEBREED. The band will also be performing a series of off-dates with Lamb Of God and Hatebreed as well (see below).

3 Inches Of Blood have also teamed back up with acclaimed director Rick Podd (The Watcher, Hellraiser), who previously shot their 'Battles And Brotherhood' video, to shoot a new clip for the track 'Silent Killer'. The group's latest album, Here Waits Thy Doom, is going to be reissued as a Mayhem Tour edition with four exclusive new tracks along with a bonus DVD featuring their video for 'Battles And Brotherhood', their performance on Fuel TV and more. Look for this new edition everywhere on June 29th.

Shane Clark (guitars) comments: "Hey all. It's that exciting time again when we're making another video. Fuck Yeah! This time around it's for our song 'Silent Killer'. It's going to be a straight up East Van production once again directed by our friend Rick Podd who directed our barbaric 'Battles And Brotherhood' video. This time, it's going to be about us getting killed by an assassin methodically throughout one fine Vancouver evening. I personally am excited because we have one of the industry's finest FX artists around helping us add a nice element of gore and guts which will get your blood boiling. Not to mention babes doin' the killin.' All is going great so we will have it ready just in time for Rockstar Mayhem Fest, which we are super stoked as all Hell for. Lots of great bands and a whole lotta BBQs and partying. Can't wait for this summer because we will be once again be bringing our brand of kick ass metal to the masses. The band also reveals that plans are underway to release their first-ever live DVD, which will include live footage culled from their upcoming May 21st and May 22nd hometown shows in Vancouver, BC.

Cam Pipes (vocals) comments: May 21st and 22nd will surely be a couple of the most monumental days in the history of 3 Inches Of Blood. Not only are we playing back to back shows in our hometown at one of the most promising new venues Vancouver has seen in a long time, but we will be filming both shows for a future live DVD release. The excitement amongst the band is feverish. We relish the opportunity to play in front of a home crowd because it reminds us who supported us in the early stages.
