Twin Cities Metal has posted rare concert footage of CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED/Ex-ICED EARTH drummer Richard Christy, playing drums with PUBLIC ASSASSIN from 1994 at the Two Rivers Music Hall in Des Moines, Iowa.

Filmed in June 1994 at the Two Rivers Music Hall in Des Moines, Iowa, this footage shows a young Richard Christy ripping it up with guitarist Steve Childers and bassist/vocalist Greg Ponder as they opened for CANNIBAL CORPSE, CYNIC, and SINISTER.

Public Assassin was a death metal band from Springfield, Missouri that issued several demos between 1989 to 1994. Following Public Assassin's demise, Richard Christy and Steve Childers relocated to Florida to form BURNING INSIDE. Richard then achieved fame as drummer for DEATH, CONTROL DENIED, ACHERON, DEMONS & WIZARDS, and Iced Earth. He currently is member of the Howard Stern Radio Show and released the debut album from his new band, Charred Walls Of The Damned, this year.
