ROB HALFORD - "I Think That Black Metal Is Brilliant!"

Greece's Rockpages recently spoke with JUDAS PRIEST frontman ROB HALFORD regarding mainly his solo career. Here's an excerpt where the Metal God talks about his wish to record a black metal album in the future:
Q: I was reading something you said last year, that you wanted to do a black metal album...
A: "Yeah!"
Q: Still interested?
A: "I’m still interested... When I talk about these things... These are ambitions and dreams I’ve got. I love that kind of music, I think it’s brilliant! I just wanna see what I can do... I might do one song or two songs, I might do an EP of four songs... It might be absolute dog shit! (big laughs) You’ve got to dive in..."

As previously reported, OzzFest 2010 will be headlined mainstagers Ozzy Osbourne and Mötley Crüe, along with HALFORD, DEVILDRIVER and NONPOINT. OzzFest will kick off August 14th in San Bernardino (the birthplace of the first Ozzfest in 1996) and then make stops in Chicago, IL, Hartford, CT, Camden, NJ, Pittsburgh, PA and Boston, MA.
