Former ANCIENT Drummer Diego "Grom" Meraviglia Records For HEXFIRE

Former drummer for Norway's ANCIENT and Italy's DOOMSWORD, Diego "Grom" Meraviglia (pictured), has provided ear-shattering drumming for a track on the new HEXFIRE album. The recording session took place in Valencia (CA) with engineer Steven Leavitt.
The band says: "Grom is an amazing drummer. We wanted him to record the fastest song from our forthcoming album because we were sure that he was the only man who could do the job perfectly! His style is exactly what we were looking for. That's why we asked him to record a song for us and he agreed! It's just amazing! We're so proud!"
As previously reported, RHAPSODY OF FIRE and AVANTASIA drummer Alex Holzwarth was recently in the studio to record drums for some of the tracks on the new Hexfire album. The recording session took place at Nocker Productions in Munich with engineer Dr. Burns.
The band stated: “We are so proud that Alex agreed to record for us. At this moment, we can say that Alex has recorded drums for one of the songs and.. WOW! He’s not just a drummer – he’s a real metal machine! What he has done in the studio is incredible! The drums sound so powerful that its even hard to describe! So… Metalheads, be prepare for a real metal attack!”
