JOHN SYKES (ex-THIN LIZZY, BLUE MURDER), THERION, ROB ROCK (ex-DRIVER, IMPELLITTERI, M.A.R.S.) have offered the following thoughts on the passing of legendary singer RONNIE JAMES DIO (DIO, BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN & HELL, RAINBOW, ELF) who lost his battle with stomach cancer on May 16th at 7:45 AM PST at the age of 67:
John Sykes: "Our condolences to the family of the great Ronnie James Dio. There will never be another like him."
Therion: "One of the greatest rock singers of all times have passed away far too early in his life. Ronnie James Dio has meant very much to all members and close collaborators of Therion and we mourn the biggest loss the hard rock scene has experienced. Gone, but never to be forgotten."
Rob Rock: "Very sad news to hear that Ronnie James Dio has passed away. Ronnie was my favorite singer and biggest inspiration for vocal stylings and performance. Truly a vocal legend. You will be forever missed. My condolences to the family. Friends and fans worldwide will miss you and remember you always."
