Swiss rockers KROKUS have issued the following update:

"'Coming Full Circle' is a phrase that has come true for the original line-up of Krokus in many aspects of their career since the reunion. We are proud to report that another highlight just materialized:

Aussie rockers AC/DC extended an invitation to Krokus as their special guest for their sold out concert at Stade De Suisse football stadium in Bern, Switzerland, where in 2008 Krokus played their first concert in the original line-up.

In 1981 Krokus played as special guest of AC/DC during their USA tour. For years the press has compared Krokus to AC/DC, mainly due to Marc Storace’s vocal similarity to the late Bon Scott. Both bands released recently new albums. Seeing them almost 30 years later reunited again on the same bill should thrill all fans in and around Switzerland that will witness the event on June 8th.

As previously reported, in Switzerland the band's new albumm Hoodoo went Gold on the first day of release and within four weeks after release earned the band Platinum status. Sony Music presented the band with their Gold and Platinum awards prior to the first concert of the Hoodoo Tour, in Zuchwil on April 30th.

Six weeks after release Hoodoo was still in the Top 5 of the Swiss charts and selling strong.

Hoodoo was recorded by Dennis Ward (producer of Hellraiser) at House of Music Studios in Winterbach, Germany with additional recordings at Pink Bild & Ton (engineered by ex-Krokus Jürg Naegeli) in Solothurn, Switzerland and Henson Studios, Los Angeles.

The reunited Krokus - featuring Marc Storace (lead vocals), Chris von Rohr (bass, vocals), Fernando von Arb (guitar, vocals), Mark Kohler (guitar), Freddy Steady (drums) - recently shot a video for the first Hoodoo single called 'Hoodoo Woman' in "Siberian-like" Berlin, Germany - check out the clip below.
