It is time to release the beast!
Michael “Whip” Wilton, legendary guitar player and founder of the multi-platinum and grammy nominated band QUEENSRŸCHE to perform at two Whip Ale re-launch events in the Seattle area. This is a re-release of Whip Ale as the high demand for this highly touted and tasty beverage has taken us in the direction of a new brewery!
This Whip Ale is a collaborative effort between Diamond Knot Brewery in Mukilteo, Washington and Michael “Whip” Wilton of Queensryche. For some time now, we have been working to perfect the recipe, and now it is time to release the monster that hides with in this mouthwatering Pale Ale.
Whip Ale is an American Pale Ale bittered with Nugget, Simcoe and Cascade hops. Pale, Caramel and Vienna malts provide a balance to the bright, citrusy hop flavors. American Ale Yeast generates a clean, crisp finish. 30 IBUs; 6.1%ABV
Michael will play at this event. He will perform a 30-40 minute set of Queensryche material with some improv jam mixed in. Here is a sample of what you will see and hear:
In addition to performances by Whip, each event will also feature two prominent bands from the Seattle area.
