THE ACACIA STRAIN Complete Album, Announce Street Date, Contest To Guess Album Title

Western Massachusetts' chuggernauts THE ACACIA STRAIN, have completed work on their new album, which will be released July 20th in North American and August 2nd in Europe. The band recorded the follow up to 2008's Continent at Planet Z Studios in Hadley, MA with Zeuss (Hatebreed, Chimaira, Shadows Fall) handling producing, mixing and mastering. The band is also running a contest through Twitter to guess the title of their new album. Each day at noon EST, the band will post one letter of the album title. The first fan who can properly guess the title, will win a t-shirt. Follow the band at Twitter.com/theacaciastrain
The Acacia Strain played several shows this past week with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. The band will also be participating in Cool Tour in July/August with AS I LAY DYING, UNDEROATH, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, BLESSTHEFALL, ARCHITECTS, CANCER BATS and WAR OF AGES.
