Birmingham City University Names Music Award After OZZY OSBOURNE

According to Birminghammail.net, Brummie rock legend OZZY OSBOURNE is set to go back to the classroom – after a city university named an award after him.

The BLACK SABBATH frontman said he was “honoured” to have a prize named after him by Birmingham City University’s School of Media.

The Ozzy Osbourne Development Award will be handed to the student who has made the most progress on the BA Media and Communications (Music Industries) degree course.

Aston-born Ozzy, who went to school close to the University’s Perry Barr campus, said: “I was honoured to be asked.

“It’s great to support Birmingham and the future of the music industry.”
