NAZXUL - North American Onslaught Continues; Live Video Footage Available
June 3, 2010, 14 years ago
Legendary Australian black metal band NAZXUL played their first American show this past weekend to a hugely receptive Maryland Death Fest crowd, and last night's performance in Brooklyn was widely remarked to be "intense".
Touring in support of last year's Moribund Records-released album, Iconoclast, the none-more-enigmatic, long-running Nazxul have never been ones to go the regular route: although the Maryland Death Fest performance had been planned for nearly a year, a series of guerilla-style shows have been set up recently in its wake. Thus, Nazxul will be laying cosmic waste to the following cities and venues:
June
8 - Bar Deluxe - Salt Lake City, UT9 - The Lucky Lady Bar - Las Vegas, NV
10 - The Drunken Lass - Prescott, AZ
11 - Oasis Club - Compton, CA
12 - Thee Parkside - San Francisco
Founding guitarist Adrian Henderson also had this brief, cryptic message: "Forsake God and join the blasphemous ritual. Due to overwhelming demand, all merchandise is sold out, and the exclusive North American tour 7" is selling fast."
