Rockers GUNS N' ROESE are set to make a triumphant return to Dublin, the Herald can reveal.

The American band will be hitting Dublin's O2 on September 1st, with tickets expected to be snapped up quickly when they go on sale on Friday, July 11th.

The worldwide tour promotes the band's current album, Chinese Democracy, which hit the top spot in charts around the globe. Guns N' Roses, with front man Axl Rose, last played Dublin four years ago in the RDS. During this tour, they performed 60 concerts in 26 countries, playing for more than a million fans, including some 30,000 in Dublin.

Since they formed in 1985, GN'R have sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, including 46 million in the US. Their hits include 'Paradise City' and 'Sweet Child O' Mine'.

As previously reported, according to Eitb.com, Guns N' Roses will perform in San Sebastián, Spain on October 10th as part of their Chinese Democracy World Tour, which kicked off in Taipei on December 11th, 2009. The concert will take place at the Anoeta Velodrome and tickets went on sale today (June 4th) priced at 55 euros each plus distribution costs.

Earlier this week, Croatian Times Online reported that Guns N' Roses will perform in Zagreb, Croatia on September 24th as part of their European tour.

The group will visit 10 cities including Zagreb where they will appear at the Arena Hall. Tickets for the concert can be purchased at all authorized Eventim outlets starting today, June 4th.

According to Austrianindependent.com, Guns N' Roses will perform in Vienna this autumn, it has emerged.

News from June 2nd, that the band fronted by Axl Rose will rock the Stadthalle on September 18th, following weeks of wild speculations over possible Austrian live dates.

The band – whose latest album Chinese Democracy was released to mixed reviews two years ago – most recently performed in Austria at the Nova Rock festival in 2006. Their headliner show at the event was harshly criticised by the press.
