MIDNATTSOL - Guitar Tracks For New Album Complete

German folk metal band MIDNATTSOL, featuring Norwegian vocalist Carmen Eliese Espenaes, have checked in from the studio with the following update:
"Hey Folks,After we (Alex and Daniel) started with the guitar recordings last Friday, the last studio day for the guitars was on the plan today (June 4th). Before the actual recordings could start, we first had to shape the future guitar sound by the choice of the boxes and the right microphone setup. The recordings of the rhythm and solo guitars followed, which are meanwhile completed. Today the guitar recordings got the last polish by recording the missing acoustic parts, so finally all guitar parts are done now.
So, Birgit will start with the bass recordings on Monday.
Markus Stock was absolutely able to convert our ideas again and gave the new album a suitably fat sound, which gives the songs the necessary power and pressure."

As previously reported, Midnattsol have posted a picture gallery from their recent appearance at the Ragnarök Festival 2010, which took place in Rieden, Germany. Check it out here.
