Swedish metallers SOILWORK are currently working on a music video for the song 'Deliverance Is Mine', to be directed by Ivan Colic (EX DEO, TYPE O NEGATIVE, UNLEASHED) and produced by Stanimir Lucik. The track comes off their upcoming release, The Panic Broadcast. A still photo from the story board stage of the project can be seen at left (click image to enlarge).

The band recently talked a little bit about the concept behind the new clip: “Our new video, ‘Deliverance Is Mine’, will be the follow-up to 2003’s CGI animated masterpiece ‘Light The Torch’. We’ve always loved that clip and it’s really exciting to be able to give it a sequel! The song is about people living through others like parasites, a perfect setting for the evil scientist and his humanoid servant to continue their cruel experiments. So far the first drafts look jaw-dropping and we have no doubt that the team over at Rock The Nation will do an amazing job on ‘Deliverance Is Mine’!”

Soilwork recently posted a trailer for the bonus DVD included with The Panic Broadcast. The clip also contains a snippet of the bonus track 'Sweet Demise', which will be included on the limited digipack version of the album. View the trailer below.

Soilwork will release The Panic Broadcast on July 2nd (Europe) and July 13th (North America) via Nuclear Blast. It will be the first album to feature original guitarist, songwriter and producer Peter Wichers since his return to the band in 2008.

The Panic Broadcast was also produced by Wichers, as he did with the latest NEVERMORE release, and was mixed by Jen Bogren (OPETH, AMON AMARTH, KATATONIA, SYMPHONY X).

Soilwork will release a 'Best Of' album, entitled The Sledgehammer Files, on June 30th via Marquee/Avalon Records in Japan.
