HYPOCRISY - Photo Gallery From Toronto Show Available

Photographer Mark Coatsworth: "Swedish death metal titans Hypocrisy return to Toronto for the first time in many years. Montreal's BLACKGUARD opened up the evening with a hellraising set to my great delight. SCAR SYMMETRY weren't my thing so snapped some photos then ducked out for some falafel. Hypocrisy were brutal and awesome, just like I remember. This was not the easiest show to shoot, it was very dark and crowded, but always fun rushing into the pit with a fisheye lens and seeing what happens. And nothing like seeing some of your favorite bands in a small venue!"

As previously reported, Metal Assault caught up with Hypocrisy frontman Peter Tägtgren at the House Of Blues in Hollywood, CA. Tägtgren talked about being back in the US after last year's cancellation, the reasons for that cancellation, the band's return to death metal themes, being a producer, Horgh's (IMMORTAL drummer) impact, the latest album Taste Of Extreme Divinity and upcoming plans among a few other things.
