MEGADETH - Rock Radio UK Catches Up With Bassist David Ellefson At Download Festival; Audio Available

UK-based Rock Radio's Paul Anthony caught up with MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson before the band's set on June 12th at the Download Festival. Anthony spoke to Ellefson at last year's Download Festival around the time Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine made contact with Ellefson, which led to his return to the band.
Ellefson comments: "It's funny about that because actually the day that I went to go back to Ohio to rehearse for Ripper's tour that we were chatting at, Dave sent me a text that morning just to say 'Hey, how are you? I've been thinking about you, how you doing?' and we chatted back and forth the rest of that day and we just left it on a real good positive note and I could just tell we were going to end up here one day and I kind of had a feeling it was going to be this year. Things have been great between me and Dave."
