Prior to these shows, Volbeat will release their fourth studio outing since first coming together back in 2001; titled Beyond Heaven / Above Hell and overseen by regular producer Jacob Hansen, the album - their first for Spinefarm Records UK - is set to be the band’s most varied effort to date, with all aspects of the well-honed Volbeat sound being pushed to new and exciting levels; in other words, more melody, more atmosphere and definitely more power, with the heavier songs - supported by a number of surprise guest appearances - showing that Poulsen & Co. are true (dark) masters of the riff.

‘A Warrior’s Call’, a song recorded by the band as a tribute to Danish boxer Mikkel Kessler (who also features on the track), is now confirmed to appear on the album.

The first single, title TBC, is likely to be released in mid-to-late August.
