MARTY FRIEDMAN Featured On Current #1 Single In Japan

The SOUND HORIZON maxi-single (click below to listen), which former MEGADETH guitarist MARTY FRIEDMAN contributed all the electric guitar work on all of its songs, made its debut on the Japanese singles chart at #1. This is the first #1 recording Friedman has played on in his entire career in any country. Sound Horizon is known for their epic arrangements, extravagant theatrical concerts and devoted fans. This is Friedman's first involvement with the project.
The second sold out Sound Horizon concert at the Yoyogi Auditorium in Tokyo on June 20th in which Friedman will play will be shown in real time in 3-D in all TOHO Cinemas throughout Japan.
After spending time at Los Angeles recording studio The Village Recorder, Friedman is back in Tokyo putting the finishing touches on his latest new instrumental solo album and tenth overall.
