DOWNSPIRIT Announce North American Release For Point Of Origin Album

DOWNSPIRIT, the German/Swiss blues/metal-oriented band formed by SYMPHORCE/ex-FREEDOM CALL guitarist Cedric "Cede" Dupont, recently inked a new deal with Metalville, who will release the band's debut album, Point Of Origin, on July 23rd in Europe.
A North American release date for the album has now been confirmed for August 17th.

"Blending old blues roots with a modern, downtuned guitar-feel, Downspirit's songs are a mixture of typical bluesy '80s hard rock and a contemporary metal sound, which also includes some electro loops," according to a press release.
