KING OF ASGARD Issue Debut Album Update

Swedish Viking death metallers KING OF ASGARD – consisting of current/former members of MITHOTYN, FALCONER and DAWN - recently recorded their debut album, Fi'mbulvintr, at KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy LaRocque's Sonic Train studios.
The band check in with the following update:
"It's been a while now and the debut album was recorded way back now. On the 19th of March, King Of Asgard made their way to Varberg, Sweden, and Sonic Train Studios. The recording was done during two intense weeks with Andy LaRocque as engineer and co-producer.We worked really hard, night and day, using both A and B studios for the ultimate outcome of our stay. All of us, with the aim of making this release as satisfying as possible, left nothing to chance. Thirteen songs were nailed on track, including intro and outro.
The arrangements is well thought through and the vocal tracks were laid down with alot of thought behind them. The production has a somewhat organic sound to it, simple and raw, yet allowing everything to shine through and bring the production to its full justice.
Both recording, mixing and mastering took place at Sonic Train Studios and we had eyes and ears on it all the way, along with the great support and professionalism from Andy LaRocque. So with all efforts put down on this, we are very proud and anxious to get this out and see from where to start."
