CBC News reports:
JON BON JOVI proved the show must go on during a weekend concert in his home state of New Jersey, continuing to perform despite suffering a leg injury towards the end of the gig.
About midway through a cover of the DAVE CLARK FIVE song 'Glad All Over', Bon Jovi suddenly grabbed his left calf and winced, but continued singing. Before the end of the song, he was leaning heavily against his microphone stand and limping.
"My calf muscle just blew out!" he declared, as soon as the song was completed, to both his band and concertgoers at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
The singer, who is seen limping back and forth across the stage in videos posted on YouTube, joked about the injury. "Don't you worry, folks," said the 48-year-old performer. "I ain't got nowhere to go. I'm old. What can I tell you? But I'm still good-lookin'!" he quipped as he stretched his leg and flexed his foot back and forth.
