Finnish rockers RECKLESS LOVE have extended their debut Back To Paradise headline tour of the UK to include extra shows in Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool and Brighton. Also, due to exceptional demand, the London venue has been swiftly upgraded from The Borderline to The Garage.

The tour kicks off on September 16th.

In addition to their own shows, the band have also been confirmed for the annual Firefest event on October 29th; once again, the venue has been upgraded, and the all-day show (also featuring CRAZY LIXX and H.E.A.T) will now take place at Trent University in Nottingham.

With the quartet’s debut self-titled album picking up stellar reviews, plus a spectacular Download Festival debut now firmly under their belt, the time is right for RL (fronted by former CRASHDÏET vocalist Olli Herman) to return to the UK to give further impetus to a new glitter-coated movement founded on strong songs, equally strong image and the all-consuming desire to entertain.

To date, the band - signed to Spinefarm Records UK - have only visited the UK on two occasions; first, to play a sold-out show at the Barfly club in London, and second, for the aforementioned Download outing, where they packed out the expansive Pepsi Stage tent.

In the build up to their Back To Paradise tour, Reckless Love have released a new digital single ‘Romance’; the single comes complete with two bonus acoustic tracks, including a cover of the DEF LEPPARD classic ‘Hysteria’. The video for ‘Romance’ features Miss Finland 2008, Satu Toumisto, a childhood friend of drummer Hessu Maxx.

“The thing is, Satu and I grew up in the same Finnish town, Viiala, so I’ve known her since she was 12 and I was 15,” says Hessu. “We went to the same school, and then, after my army service, I became a substitute teacher in music. Satu was still in high school, and actually, she was a talented drummer, really into music and dancing. So we did quite a lot of things together in different kinds of projects, and we always had fun.

“So when I asked her to play a part our video, she said yes straight away...”

The third Reckless Love single, ‘Back To Paradise’, is set for release in September to coincide with the headline tour.
