EMPYRIA/THOR Guitarist Michael Kischnick Suffers Stroke

EMPYRIA/THOR guitarist Michael Kischnick is thankful to be alive after suffering a major hemmorage on his brain stem called a Cavernoma on July 17th. He was released from hospital on July 21st.
According to Wikipedia, Cavernous angioma, also known as cerebral cavernous malformation (CCM), cavernous haemangioma, and cavernoma, is a vascular disorder of the central nervous system that may appear either sporadically or exhibit autosomal dominant inheritance.
Kischnick remarks: "Thanks for all the visits and prayers. Will need recovery, how long don't know?????? Look forward to completing recording of a new Empyria track called 'The Sheltering' soon, as well as a video for 'Last Rites'. Empyria will cancel it's August 14th show at Armstrong Open Air for now but will hopefully play a few shows this fall."
