ELVENKING - Red Silent Tides Release Date Confirmed

Italian metallers ELVENKING have issued the following update:
"The European release date for our new album Red Silent Tides is set for September 17th. We can anticipate that there will be also a very special edition of the album including a lot of great surprises for the fans, something not to be missed. More info will be published soon.The band will play at Rock Hard festival Italy on September 19th and then will join PRIMAL FEAR in Germany to start the European tour, from September 21st.
Last week end Elvenking have played the last two shows before the release of the album in Germany. Thanks to all the fans there! At Dong Open Air the band has also played a special cover to celebrate the 20th birthday of their friends SKUYCLAD. Miss Georgina Biddle has joined EK during their set for a very special version of Clad’s classic 'Civil War Dance'. Damna has later walked on stage during Skyclad set to perform 'Penny Dreadful' and the whole band has then sung the backing vocals for 'Anotherdrinkingsong'.

According to a press release, "produced and mixed by Dennis Ward (ANGRA, PINK CREAM 69, PRIMAL FEAR), the successor to 2007's The Scythe will show once again Elvenking's songwriting abilities, a high taste for great melodies and the will to break the boundaries and push the band to the next level."
