JANE'S ADDICTION - Live Voodoo DVD And Blu-Ray Coming Soon

On August 31st, JANE'S ADDICTION will issue their first ever live DVD and Blu-Ray, Live Voodoo, via Eagle Rock Entertainment.
Live Voodoo captures a musical celebration at the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans in 2009. Filmed on Halloween night, the reunion of the original lineup – guitarist Dave Navarro, bassist Eric Avery, drummer Stephen Perkins, and ever-enigmatic frontman Perry Farrell – proved they still have that flawless, ferocious flair that conquered the hard rock world of the late '80s/early '90s. Setting in motion a lasting alt-rock legacy, they are seen performing staples predominantly from their first two albums. The band worked their magic over the crowd, proving that a Jane’s Addiction show is more than just a concert – it’s an experience.

As previously reported, Jane's Addiction - with Duff McKagan (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER) on bass in place of Eric Avery - is currently working on a new album with Rich Costey as producer. It’s tentatively due out in the winter of 2011 on Capitol Records and will be supported with a worldwide tour.
