Oulu, Finland’s THE MAN-EATING TREE has just confirmed a European tour with Finnish metal legends TAROT.

Tuomas Tuominen (vocals) is extremely excited and cannot wait to go on tour: "This is no rocket science, this is music. It is simple elements pieced together with sincerity. I have to say that we caught fire when we saw the feedback on our first shows in Finland. The atmosphere felt amazing. Now we are pleased to announce that we are going to tour continental Europe on our upcoming shows together with Tarot. Can't wait to meet you there!"

Vesa Ranta, the man behind the drums and all visuals of The Man-Eating Tree, as well as former drummer of SENTENCED, has created a viral clip for the song 'The Longitude Of Sleep'. The clip is entirely based on amazing and atmospheric photos done by Vesa himself, so please dim the lights and have a look (below).

'The Longitude Of Sleep' will be available on The Man-Eating Tree’s debut-album, Vine, that Century Media Records licensed from Cobra Records for the world outside of Finland. Vine will be out on the following dates:

The album was produced by the well-known and acclaimed Hiili Hiilesmaa (Sentenced, H.I.M., AMORPHIS). The Man-Eating Tree’s debut single, 'Out Of The Wind', already reached #3 in the Official Finnish single charts in May 2010.
