Philadelphia, PA’s RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER recently completed three-week’s worth of dates, touring to the southwest to meet up with underground death metal legends DECEASED for a west coast run, now underway.
The band check in with Tour Blog Part 1:
"Well well well, here we are again touring the entire country during the summer. Thanks for everyone's support; the turnouts for all shows so far have been great! We started out at a familiar venue in Trenton NJ and had a great time as always at Championships. Newport News VA was a fun as hell event with our friends POSSESSOR. True Mad Max madmen from hell!! The venue was also sandwiched in between 2 "strip" clubs even though the girls didn't strip and weren't... hot. Oh well, we got no money to spend on skank to tease us anyway.
Next stop was Nashville to play at The Muse for our 3rd time. Third time must be the charm since it was a fantastic evening. Thanks to my friend Diana for taking pics of our performance. Be on the lookout for the pics soon. Also if you're ever there try the pizza upstairs. It RULES.
After that, an epic journey ensued to make it to Dallas the next day. Good times playing with SILVER TONGUED DEVIL and OBSIDIAN THRONE. Also great to see our friend Russ.
Amarillo was next. Great turnout for this free show! We raged at a local cheap ass hotel with our old friend Paul and his Canadian friend Brenda. So great to catch up with them.
Next we head to Vegas and played our first show of the tour with Deceased. Absolutely great performance from these legends of Zombie Death thrash!! Also there were some great openers at this show, but the highlight for me was to see my Uncle John and hang out with him. Can't wait to get out to Vegas again to see him again.
Next we played a couple shows in Tucson, AZ and Phoenix. We had a great time playing these shows with CHAOS ASCENDING and then staying with Pat's dad and his wife for a few days. Thanks again for putting us up.
Next was beautiful San Diego and the hills of Escondido were raged apart once again after playing for our friend Joe and staying at his house. Thanks so much dude. Also , I finally got to see who is more powerful, Mortal Kombat or the DC universe by battling on his PS3. The answer? Well, both. For instance, Superman is a wimp and Batman rules so... yeah. Check out part 2 of our tour blog in a few days you misfits and maniacs!!"
