MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx recently spoke to BraveWords.com correspondent Deb Rao regarding Ozzfest, which kicks off on Saturday, August 14th in San Bernardino, CA, and the damage that the recent storm caused at the Sonisphere Festival in Finland on Sunday.

BraveWords.com: Nikki, we heard the news about the storm that descended upon the Sonisphere Festival. Are you and the band OK? What are the damages? Did you lose all of your equipment?

Nikki: "We were very lucky nobody got hurt. The damage to the equipment, considering, wasn't too bad... We feel bad we couldn’t play for the fans in Finland."

BraveWords.com: What are some of the highlights from the European tour? Are you taking a lot of photos for your upcoming book?

Nikki: "This has been my favorite trip to Europe and as far as photos for my book, the book is done so I didn't really focus so much on photography as just taking in all in."

BraveWords.com: Are you looking forward to performing at Ozzfest? Does everything feel like it has come full circle? How exciting it is to share the stage with this legend once again?

Nikki: "I'm so fucking excited about Ozzfest. What is not to love about this years lineup too? Metal needs a forum and Ozzy brings it."

This year's Ozzfest is set to kick-off on August 14th in San Bernardino, CA at the San Manuel Amphitheater. The official set times have been revealed as follows:

Each Ozzfest date will include 14 bands on two stages. In addition, concert-goers can once again visit the Ozzfest Village Of The Damned featuring a mix of interactive activities, shopping and entertainment throughout the venue concourses.
