JOE LYNN TURNER To Organize "International Music Festival" In Turkey

According to Hurriyetdailynews.com, singer Joe Lynn Turner (ex-RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE) visited Antalya Mayor Mustafa Akayd?n to ask for support for an international music festival he plans to organize in the Mediterranean city.
Saying that Antalya was a world-renowned city, Turner added that many people came to visit the city and he and his friends in Turkey planned to organize an international rock music festival. He said he would be inviting world famous names to the festival.
Akayd?n said the municipality should support the organization of such a festival in the city. He said that an international rock music festival would befit Antalya, adding, “Famous artists coming to the city will favorably promote both Turkey and the city. We already stage events to boost the city’s cultural and artistic reputation. It will make us very happy to do this,” he said.
