Update: Has AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler Inked His American Idol Deal?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources say AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler has inked his American Idol deal.
Fox isn't commenting.
As with all things Idol, we remain wary until there's an official announcement since the hiring process has been chaotic and full of media switchbacks.
But this marks the first time THR has reported an Idol judging panel candidate is locked, with two sources near the talks saying Tyler has signed.
Fox's mantra with regards to Idol judging stories is that no "no deals are signed." When called about Tyler yesterday afternoon, the network had no comment.
Tyler asked for considerably less money than fellow judges panel candidate Jennifer Lopez, whose "north of $20 million" demands THR first reported last week.
