POISON singer BRET MICHAELS is set to host the 2010 Miss Universe pageant this year alongside NBC’s Today show anchor Natalie Morales.

Broadcasted in more than 180 countries, the Miss Universe pageant will air live on NBC and Telemundo on August 23 from Las Vegas.
In other news, Michaels will be featured on the entertainment show Extra on Monday, August 23rd on NBC at 7 p.m. ET.
