According to Metropolis, police have charged a Queens woman who allegedly donned a cat mask to rob shoe stores this summer, a crime spree that briefly made her an Internet phenom and exposed the public to what is perhaps the greatest police sketch of all time (photo at the left courtesy of The New York Post).
Shanna Spalding, a 28-year-old lead singer in death metal band DIVINE INFAMY, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two robberies. She may face more charges, according to police.
Spalding, who lives in Woodside, Queens, is awaiting arraignment.
