CGMA is an IRS certified not-for-profit operation which is committed to support schools that have discontinued their music programs due to a lack of funding. CGMA leverages star power to promote education, community development and diversity.
CGMA is a family friendly program. The awards ceremony will help bridge the generation gap in the music industry and in families across America. This will be accomplished by showcasing today’s fresh new artists who will present awards to and perform with their predecessors. Grandparents, parents and their teenagers will come together to watch their favorite entertainers perform classic gold recordings.
